Look out for Badge & Jillaroo

MATT Simmonds enjoys selling his Kelpies at the Pedigree Working Dog Auction.

A former vendor – he sold GoGetta Cocoa in 2007 for $3100 – Matt believes the sale has a great reputation and attracts genuine buyers
“The concept of demonstrating the dogs prior to the auction gives buyers a good chance to see what each dog can do,” he said.
“The auction also gives people an opportunity to select a dog to suit their situation and skill level.
“Some people want a dog with plenty of experience, while others like to get well-bred pups that they can train up.”
Matt will be hoping that buyers take note of his two dogs – Simmo’s Jillaroo and Kippakoop Badge – describing them both as loyal, friendly and good-natured.
“Kippakoop Badge works with sheep and cattle every day and is a good honest worker,” he said.
“Simmo’s Jillaroo is only 14 months old and is already showing good skill so I think she’ll develop into a good all-rounder.”
A pre-sale catalogue is now available for inspection.
