We will be holding our 14th Australian Kelpie Muster weekend on the 12th and 13th June 2010.  A fantastic achievement by everyone involved with the muster, our hardworking volunteers, community groups, our committee members, members of the community and sponsors. Their support is always appreciated.
The Muster will be full of action packed events. We will reach $1 Million in Dog Sales at our Working Dog Auction on Sunday.  A significant achievement by everyone involved. Come along and see history made on the day.
We have the kelpie trialathon with the high jump, hill climb and sprint. These events display the intelligence and superb athletic ability of the Kelpie. For the horse enthusiasts we have the Stockman’s Challenge – a partnership between, horse and rider and their dog. A wonderful display of our traditional way of life.
We have our annual parade, where the whole community is involved. The parade is exceptional and always draws a crowd.  We are bringing back Mutton Mayhem due to popular demand, and so will our Pinball event as well. We have the Kelpie Kids available, and don’t forget our popular animal nursery.
Our popular annual Photo Competition will be held, along with a couple of new competitions – Make a Decorative Dog Collar – this is open for all ages, and the dog collar can be made out of any materials, just use your imagination. We have the Dog Kennel Competition – use your handy person skills to build a dog kennel, involve your whole family. Prizes will be awarded. An art display will be held by Jill Raymond. There are a range of events, displays and competitions that will be held...... For our Saturday night entertainment, we have the Caberet, where entertainment is provided and a good night out is guaranteed.
Our raffle tickets are available to purchase from participating Casterton Traders at $1 per ticket.
